Vindictive Insanity
Angry moments,
Lead to angry words,
And the more angry they become,
The more they hurt
Everything is twisted,
Everything so insane,
Everyone so vindictive,
And everyone to blame
Everyone wants payback,
And so it sets the stage,
For suicidal tendencies,
Fueled by nothing but rage
Epithets mix with pain,
Shouted slurs not meant,
Souls are degraded,
And it all leads to shame
Physical and emotional forces,
Both torture and inflame,
And nobody wins,
No-one ever gains
Misery loves company,
And so does passion too,
And when they are combined,
We can only lose

empty trains as i stare
into the dark ceiling, wondering
what it would be like to dream.

there are notions running through my head
that i cannot turn off,
that i cannot ignore.
i get up and write them down,
hoping that these thoughts will finally
quiet down and allow me to sleep.

To Have You
Something in my chest is beating.
Is that my heart?
I guess since you're here with me,
You finally gave it back.
But why is it beating so fast?
Why can't I look away?
Your hallow eyes make my breathing stop.
The pain is becoming too much.
Tears start to form.
Before I know it they stream down my cheeks.
You turn your back to me one more time.
But I'm not letting you get away.
Not again.
My fingers wrap around your wrist.
Your skin is so rough.
So cold.
I'm temped to let go.
But I fight to hold on.
This is the last chance I'll get.
You don't turn around though.
You don't even notice me standing there.
My arm drops.

Echoes
She echoes inside.
Her loneliness leaving her barren and cold,
Her fingertips so bloodied and broken.
She had tried to climb out,
But to no avail.
Her love lay on the earth beside her,
As her tears,
Echoed.
Her eyes are chiseled out stars,
trails of gold carve into green;
wobbly curses splatter the walls
She tries to get out,
She tries to get out.
"Don't leave me," he says
as whispers
Echo.
Trickling water resounds around them,
Its pattering going slower, and slower,
Pounding deep within her.
Her eyes, like chocolate melt with tears,
And as they flow she is immersed in nothingness.
Darkness is her friend,
Her weakness,
